Oh NO, The Botched Bang

Everyone at some point or another has attempted to fix an issue themselves with regard to their hair, whether a home hair color or cut, the results often require making a mad dash to a stylist to repair the damage. Bangs remain a strong style this fall and winter and one of the most classic hair fails is the botched bang. We asked our stylists how to deal with a botched bang before getting into see their preferred Changing Room Stylist and Stephanie Donovan offered this jem of advice!

When dealing with a botched bang, your best bet is to purchase a headband or bobby pins. This will keep them hidden until you are able to see a stylist to aid with fixing them. If you have a slightly larger forehead and do not feel comfortable wearing all your hair back, leave a couple of strands down to soften your face. Also, if your hair tends to stick up and not lay flat you can secure them with a long roller clip and some hairspray for about five minutes. This will aid in weighing them down and taming them.
