Latest Hairstyles, Stephanie Donovan Weighs In
As a hair artist, I love to accentuate my clients unique attributes. Sometimes what a client wants isn’t always possible, but what is possible is finding that happy medium that suits them best and leaves them with a chic, contemporary style which is fitting for their everyday life. I want to make sure what I do is something that they can replicate, making their style last at its best. What’s best about todays modern looks, is that everything is regressing to the 60s and 70s semi grunge, hippie trends. For somebody who is more low maintenance, I tend to lead towards the ombré or sombré depending on how daring they may be. This is a good transition for somebody who’s tired of constant visits to maintain highlights. Although some people might need to continue touching up their base color (with an ombré or sombre), this will still obtain contrast, and a lighter glow to brighten up their face. For the clients who prefer a more dashing, edgy look, switching it up with a new sharp bang or a splash of color is always a great way to go. From changing a slight side bang to a full straight bang, or adding a pop of blue to black hair. A slight change can alter the persons entire flair. These things require more maintenance, so it’s good to notify the client that frequent visits are necessary to sustain their look. Everybody is their own piece of art, filled with variety. Emphasize it and bring out all aspects of your beauty is my passion. Stephanie Donovan
